Sheila Phillips

Training Instructor

Sheila has served as a police officer with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department since 2015 and currently holds the position of police sergeant in District 3. Her previous roles include working as a detective in the District 1 Detective Bureau and in the Human Trafficking unit, where she played a pivotal role in rescuing and rehabilitating young teen girls. Sheila holds a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice from Harris-Stowe State University and a Master’s in Criminology from Columbia College. She is pursuing a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. Committed to community service, she actively engages with youth groups to foster accountability, stability, and strength. Sheila is transitioning to the role of Recruiting Coordinator for her department, focusing on outreach and recruitment strategies to enhance the applicant pool.
